#ApliDiwaliBorderwali

They guard our Diwali.
Let's send them a taste of home.

आपली दिवाळी, बॉर्डरवाली!

Every year, Pravartan Foundation, Raosaheb Charitable Trust and Panchajanya Foundation celebrate Diwali with the jawans guarding India's border in Kashmir. This year too, we are carrying Diwali faral from Pune to them. Help us take it there.

Why we do this

A Diwali far from home

While we light diyas and share faral with our families, the jawans posted along the border spend the festival on duty, in the cold, far from theirs. Their Diwali is the watch they keep so that ours is safe.

#ApliDiwaliBorderwali is how we tell them they are not alone this Diwali. Every box of faral from Pune carries the taste of home, and the gratitude of everyone who gave.

We celebrate Diwali at home because they stand guard at the border. This year, let's take Diwali to them.
